I don't understand why it is at the Paris instead of the Gleason, but should be fun!

Hm! What's the Paris theater? I'm really into the Fillmore after I went for that Seal concert, but I already have anniversary celebration plans tonight.

What??? You don't know what the Paris is? Man, it's one of the nicest event venues on South Beach, or anywhere in Miami. It is a converted movie theater (isn't everything in MB?). And they redid it specifically to be an event venue. It is very nice, has multiple levels, bars, a stage, the whole deal. We've been there for a few things, including a really fun Puma fashion show.

All of Funkshion Fashion Week this week has been there. And we will coincidentally be at a Funkshion show there earlier tonight, then to Setai for after-party, then back to Paris. Now, why the opening of the Gleason is at the Paris, I have NO clue. Oh, we might also stop by this - http://www.nefariousgirl.com/2007/10/08/fashion/

Ohhhhhhhhhhh SHIT that was a nice party! If I wasn't so fucking dead from working my ass off all week promoting the new CD, we'd still be there. But that was a great 2 hours. Just chillin' to great music with free drinks and some nice food. It's a beeyootiful place, and they were doing a silly, entertaining live photo shoot. I'll post pics... um... soon (after I sober up).

I beg to ask the question, does the photographer actually generate what he or she considers usable work from this 'live photo shoot'?

I used to be an investor in a studio about ten years ago, and frankly, unless you are the one acquiring the image, or are a photographer, watching a photo shoot in progress is akin to observing the proverbial paint dry.

I have no idea if the photog even had film in her camera. Not only was it a little like watching paint dry, it was like watching it dry from outside the house about halfway across the street. You'll see what I mean. However, the fun was mostly to be had from the vibe, crowd, music, and freely flowing alcohol.
