My buddy is a bartender at Mango's...he has to dance on the bar and shit...but for a few years in row he would make over $100k...dude came to America without really speaking English...how's that for the American dream?

exactly my point....if you like what you do...you'll do okay at it. I bet he doesn't run around telling people how much he makes...

I know a plumber who is knee deep in shit all day....but once he gets home to his million dollar house and takes a shower....it's a whole different story.

Money is a good thing but it's how you use money that tells the real story of a person. The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away.

I've made many millions of dollars in my life. I've gone broke more than once and made it more than once. So what? I could tell you the stories of the things I owned or the money I wasted but they would only serve to embarrass me. It's the stories of the people we've helped around the world that are the legacy I am actually proud of.

In 2005, we created and funded a center in Cambodia that takes little girls out of sexual slavery and gives them a place to live while they learn to read and write and to sew. When Rebecca died, the woman who runs the center called me and told me that, because of Rebecca's gift and vision, 457 girls had been taken out of the sex trade so far and were now fully employed, educated and living productive lives. That's a legacy to be proud of.

Of course, SobeQueen thinks she's impressing us with her lies of wealth and world travel. Well, I'm not impressed because I know they're lies. However, even if they were true, I still wouldn't be impressed because I've done that as well and have traveled more of the globe than she ever will. The difference is that we left behind a better life for the people we met along the way. All she did was blow whatever rich guy was paying the bills.

Hopefully we're setting a young person straight. Actually, come to think of it, the obsession with material possessions and money is a very young female trait.

Money is such a boring conversation. When people brag about money they lose my attention faster than an economics presentation. Don't get me wrong, it is very nice to have money. But in my 31 years I have noticed that the majority of people that I have met who brag or are stuck on talking about money are douchebags.

That is absolutely AMAZING! You and Rebecca have done so many things I can only dream of. It's truly inspiring. I honestly still don't understand why such an amazing person was taken from you and from this world Dade. I still am keeping you in my thoughts every day man.
