ATT or Verizon or T-Mobile

Here is the deal - I am looking at a plan that offers data for a smart phone, been away for a while so have no idea who is offering a better deal these days. Will be traveling between states so MPCS is not really an option unless they've improved their Metro Piece of S*** service. Pay as you go cost me a fortune last time so I am planning on keeping this number and changing my plan to the lowest alternative once I leave. *I know someone who pays $10 a month to keep his # (sounds good to me).

- Is Verizon still OK? Is ATT as crap as it was when I left?

Re: ATT or Verizon or T-Mobile

I've been a faithful AT&T person since 1997. I even held on when they did the whole cingular debacle and i had cingular service and an AT&T phone... then finally a cingular phone when they turned back to AT&T. It was terrible.

BUT I honestly have no issues and rarely drop calls.... I talk to my dad the entire time i'm driving across alligator alley and typically drop the call in a dead spot for like 5-10 minutes then i'm good to go. So for me, AT&T!

Re: ATT or Verizon or T-Mobile

You can get T-Mobile with no contract. It'll cost about $79 a month for unlimited everything with no contract and the data speeds are fantastic. AT&T and VZW require contracts, as far as I know.

Norah, bring an Android or an iOS device and we can just get you a SIM from T-Mobile. I can get you the GPP for your iOS device or we can root your existing Droid.

T-Mobile all the way, the AT&T has the I-Phone but T-Mobile has the best plans of all the major cellular providers.
