The Knicks derailed us in a couple of series in the 90's, really messed up our hopes for winning the Championship. To this day, that 99" lockout season, where we lost in 5 Games to the Knicks due to Allen Houstons lucky shot was probably our year to win the Championship. The Knicks beat us and the Spurs won it instead.

That 99' team had Zo, Hardaway, Mashburn, Stackhouse, PJ Brown and Bruce Bowen just to name a few. We were considered the best Defensive team that year, I remember Pat Riley had decorated the locker room and all with the Championship rings.

It was our year. I am so happy for the Knicks misfortunes, hope it continues.

Superfan, please stfu. There is no excuse machine. The Heat have been the favorites from the beginning of the season. I was content to see us get two games out of this series but it's looking worse and worse. Fact is we looked to have a pretty deep bench prior to Lin going down, but there are still enough good players on this team to at least make it respectable. So we are now down three men, so what. Everyone else has to step up and earn their fucking money.
