Real inflation is at about 8%. Oil companies know that. Expect gas to only get worse as the dollar goes down, even if Middle East tensions subside.

Can someone explain to me why gas prices fluctuate so much between states? Bling just paid $4. In Chicago, regular is $4.89. I just paid $3.79 up here. Why would gas be so much cheaper in NH? Is it a state tax thing?

Unemployment and job numbers are down because companies have learned to adapt with less employees.

Salaried employees are great, especially in a down economy. You can make them work harder and harder for no extra money because they are terrified of losing their jobs. And we give it a fabulous sounding name! PRODUCTIVITY! So awesome.
