Whenever you're speaking with someone from out of town and they bring up how terrible their city's traffic is and how they "must have the worst drivers imaginable," you probably want to shoot them with your Unfounded Hyperbole Gun. Miami has, unequivocally, the worst drivers in the United States. Outside the U.S. is a different story, because we've heard reports that third world countries don't have traffic laws, they have traffic "suggestions" and that their traffic signs are merely "ironic hipster placards."

I've been here for 4 hours and I already have a bunch of stuff to add to that list. I don't know how I ever lived here.

Oh be nice, we do have redeeming qualities here. However, like anywhere, there are annoyances. I know for a fact the traffic annoys you in Boston. I'd be hopping mad, personally. I get irritated when I have to go below 60 on the interstates.

#1 - car text messages - ahaha I fucking hate these! I just got one an hour ago... so annoying. I thought I might have been just unlucky inheriting a bad cell number.

#2 - shit Miami says... never heard of it?

#3 - Miami definitely has the worst drivers.

On the traffic subtopic -- traffic overall is bad in the real Miami but not that much different from Tampa or Orlando. I personally live on the beach and work in Brickell and it is fine. 15-20 minute commute usually unless there is an accident on Macarthur or a big event.

If you're one of the people who lives way out in Doral / The Everglades, South Miami or god help you further north in Mirimar or some shit and you have to commute to downtown, well, sucks for you but you can thank urban sprawl for that.

#4 Homeless guys "I'll watch your car"... yeah, I fucking hate that. Right on the money. Not sure if that happens much in other cities, never saw it until I moved here.

#5 - Indifferent on this one...

There are indeed redeeming things but, landing here today felt like landing in any country in Central America.

As for traffic in Boston, it rarely bothers me. Even when there is congestion, people still drive.

#5 Miami newspapers making a 4 paragraph story on two pages.

They drive slow though. Slower than here. Which is painfully slow.

I've been trying to encourage the use of the word, 'ese', but no one has picked it up.

The problem with ese is that it sounds like essay. Still I think
I'd rather hear ese than hearing bro for the 20 billionth time.
