In fact, here's a case you haven't heard of that's happening right now in the city I live in. A murder case that probably will involve the Stand your Ground defense. Police know the shooter, and nobody is denying he did the shooting....but after a month there's still NO arrest. Sound familiar so far?

It's been a month, and no arrest, and the victim is black....so where's the outrage?? Where's Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, NAACP, thousands of people holding a rally, and round-the-clock media coverage to stir up the pot? They are nowhere to be found. Why? Because the shooter was black too. And that is why you've never heard of this case.

In Florida, the police need probable cause to make an arrest. In the Treyvon martin case, the police felt they had probable cause and did take Zimmerman into custody. they also told witnesses that they believed they had enough to arrest him. However, they were overruled at the station and Zimmerman was released.

The simple fact that they had probable cause to arrest him for second degree murder is enough proof that the outrage was justified. The charges include profiling and stalking. But, the facts never mattered much to you and I don't expect this to be any different.

Also, the Florida Stand Your Ground Law is not applicable in the Martin case so, I have no idea why you think the two cases are in any way similar other than to try and distort the facts, as is your habit, to attack someone.

If Zimmerman had taken the police on a high-speed chase after killing Trayvon, you would have been even more convinced that he needed to be arrested. And that is exactly what the suspect in this shooting did....damn, he even shot the dude in his back, from across the street! But after one month, STILL no arrest, NO outrage from anyone (besides the poor guy's mother) and NO national media coverage.

My friends at the department say they have all the evidence they need...the probable cause is there, BUT, they don't want to let any public pressure cloud their judgment and fuck up the case in court. I can't believe it...I thought arrests only get delayed when the shooter is white.

Of course they're not comparable, this is a black-on-black crime. Didn't they teach you anything at Al Roker Academy? There's only three types of crimes the national media wants you to care about since they make big profits from them: celebrity crimes, unsolved crimes involving beautiful blond-haired girls, and interracial crimes.
