Louis C.K. Is Done
Finding out that C.K. is a sexual predator immediately changes our perception of that two-parter. Now it seems like some kind of cover story, and any art that it contained is overshadowed by the sense that it was all a con job, regardless of whether its grappling with morality was sincere (and I think it probably was). The Times revelations make it seem in retrospect as if C.K. was trying to get away with something in those episodes — convincing people that he was more like the Louie who joked onstage about male hypocrisy and impulse control than the predator blocking a door; or the C.K. who made I Love You, Daddy, a work that seems designed to taunt anyone who ever had a problem with Woody Allen’s sexual politics and behavior, or worried that the rumors about C.K. might be true.

Never liked the guy.
Let's keep this movement rolling, nothing will ever be fixed until enough of these people are brought down. And they need to be brought down hard. If the allegations turn out to be true*, liquidate his assets to give to the harmed and toss him in the clink for at least a decade. Do that to 10 or 15 of these scumbags and maybe future violators will think twice about how bad they really need to masturbate. But, as long as the laws are wimpy and there is no attempt to enforce them, this will keep happening with regularity.
*A full and proper trial should always be enacted before convicted and punishing anyone.

Yes, including for Takei. Since his transformation from quirky memes and innuendo guy into full-blown socialist scold, I've found him nothing but irritating. However, he does have the right to a fair trial by a jury of his peers, just like anyone else.
Louis CK owned up to what he did, so that's pretty much that.
Takei is in full denial mode, and to be honest I don't think he did it (gasp! I'm defending a Democrat...) but I will say he's kind of getting what he deserves since he's been pushing that "always believe the accuser" mentality when it comes to sexual harassment. Basically he's a fan of mob justice and trial by media. Now he's got a mob after him.

I am glad that Louis CK at least admitted it instead of the usual denial and false accusation claim that all the other Sexual Harassers tend to go for.

Agreed. He was the last person I expected, but he's basically owning it, which is a small step. Doesn't excuse the behavior, but if anything, it'll salvage some part of his career. He can lay low for a year or two and come back and no one will notice.
