No no no no no. None of that is why white middle-Americans voted for him. It was one thing, well two things.
1) He promised to bring those good old jobs back. You know the ones, those supported by epic pollution and wanton destruction of the planet, but hey they paid well.

But
2) He LISTENED to them. He went to their hometowns, he heard what they said, and then he said it right back to them as campaign promises. While Hilary was listening to expert economists and advisors and saying those things, Trump was listening to barely educated common folks and saying those things.

THAT is why he won.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that only 29% of all Likely U.S. Voters think it’s better for the country if Democrats oppose the president in every way possible. Sixty-three percent (63%) say it’s better for the country if Democrats try to work with the president instead.

Oppositionism worked for the Republicans, why not the Democrats?

When I was growing up, I was taught that if I wanted something, I had to pay for it myself.

I've never understood your love of paying for others' healthcare at literally the highest rate possible, whether they need your help or not.

Actually, if I had my way, I'd let doctors set their own prices and pay them cash. It actually works.

Boom. Even the king socialist, Dade, actually said the idea has merits.

First of all who the fuck cares what Dade thinks. Last, I checked Dade is well off and lives way above the poverty/middle class level.

People like yourself tend to forget the whole purpose of the Affordable Care Act, hence Affordable. Yes, politicians fucked it up by allowing Heathcare Insurance Lobbyist to influence the bill. But two things stand out from ACA and that is making it affordable for all Americans and Protections for Pre-Existing Conditions.

Yes, I understand there are some Americans paying higher Healthcare bills due to ACA and this is a problem that needs to be addressed. But, nothing that your party has proposed so far is better than ACA.

Eventually if your Party has it their way millions of Americans will be uninsured and instead they will walk into your nearest Hospital Emergency Room for care that is more costly to tax payers.

What's your plan if you get cancer? Suck it up and celebrate your individual freedom to die painfully and leave your family in poverty after you're gone?

Ron Paul distilled it down for you last night.

His son, one of the most brilliant political minds we have, has a plan.

http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/874934

Under a bill introduced yesterday by Sen. Rand Paul, MD (R-KY), physicians could deduct the value of charity or uncompensated medical care on their taxes up to 10% of their gross income. The bill, titled the Obamacare Replacement Act, also would allow independent physicians to join together and collectively bargain with private insurers, which is now prohibited by federal antitrust laws.

The rest of the bill offers up reforms that Congressional Republicans as well as President Donald Trump have been advocating — among them, the sale of health plans across state lines, the ability of individuals to purchase coverages through associations, more state control of Medicaid, and up to $5,000 in tax credits for contributions to health savings accounts (HSAs), which could be used to buy coverage.

Dr Paul said in a news release that his "broadly supported conservative reforms" were ready for an immediate vote after Congress repealed the ACA. Trump has said that repeal and replacement of the law — two separate steps — would occur on the same day, if not the same week.

Remember, this is the guy who skipped the RNC to perform free surgeries for those in need.

Rand Paul is a Libertarian in Republican clothes, and he proposed this. There's your solution. It demolishes the ACA, and leaves some compromises so you and your friends find something else to bitch about.

Democrat giving response to Trump speech calls himself a Republican

“I’m a proud Democrat, but first and foremost, I’m a proud Republican, and Democrat, and mostly, American,” former Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear said in a telecast from a diner in his home state.

Former Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear offered the Democratic response to President Trump‘s speech before Congress Tuesday night.

No matter what Beshear was saying — and no doubt he said a lot of inspiring stuff — it was a little hard to take him seriously because I couldn’t stop thinking about the late religious whacko Marshall Applewhite.
