Hey, as long as he's paying for it out of his own pocket, I could give a rat's ass. Bolt on giant ears and call yourself a donkey. Just don't ask me to pay for it.

Since transgender is so hot right now, we should celebrate all things trans.

I'll bring the beer. I'll wager someone's offended by beer though.

Well, if it's Budweiser, I'd be offended.

FYI

Insurance rarely covers the cost of elective cosmetic surgery done to improve appearance. Reconstructive surgery may be covered if it will improve your physical function or will correct a problem present from birth (congenital) or caused by an accident.

California Is First to Pay for Prisoner’s Sex-Reassignment Surgery

Hopefully they won't be bigots and will also use taxpayer money for transracial and transspecies reassignments.

I know that, at least for the US. Not sure how it works in Argentina.

I mean, I get it - you are a fan of robbery by proxy. Janie gets a cold and somehow I'm supposed to be on the hook for it.

If Janie asked nicely, I might chip in if she's down on her luck. But taking money from my pocket isn't the right way to go about it.

Unless you propose enforcing cyborg-equality at gunpoint...

As long as we keep moving technology forward (which is questionable at this point), there will come a point where procedures like this, and even more extreme, are barely more costly than a tattoo.
