Right on, brother!! Obviously the reason somebody in Chicago gets shot every two and a half hours is that there are NOT ENOUGH GUNS THERE!!

Fortunately for the innocent people of Chicago, you can just drive 15 minutes to anywhere else in Cook County to buy a gun that your can take back with you to keep the city safer.

All this gun talk is moving higher in my list of: "learning to shoot, getting permit and becoming a new gun owner "..

Obviously, it's so obvious. The Slammer doesn't support more drug laws, so obviously he thinks everyone should use drugs. Not just a few more people, but everyone. Don't you see it? It's so obvious. Everyone must use drugs to eliminate the drug problem. Yep, that's obviously what the Slammer said.

Purpose of your visit?: No reason.

It's perfectly obvious that more guns = less gun deaths. Just ask the NRA! They say so and they would never lie, would they?

Yes, it's just as obvious as "gun free zone = no gun death". Just ask the dead students.

Paraphrasing a recent conversation the Slammer had with somebody:

Gun free zone didn't eliminate gun deaths on campus
Yeah, but that's because someone broke the law and brought a gun on campus from the city.
Ok, so your solution is a gun-free zone extended to the entire city?
No, because then someone will smuggle guns into the city from outside the city
So your solution is a gun-free zone extended to the entire county?
No, because then someone will smuggle guns into the county.
So your solution is a gun-free zone extended to the entire state?
No, because then someone will smuggle guns into the state.
So your solution is a gun-free zone extended to the entire country?
No, because guns can still be smuggled into the country.
So your solution is a ban on guns in the entire world?
Yes, that's my solution.
Civilians only, or governments too?
Governments too. If governments have them, they will eventually be smuggled into the civilian sector.
So your solution is a Superman 4-style approach, rid the entire planet of all guns, hurl them into the sun.
Yes, that's my solution.
But what about the science of making a gun, wouldn't you have to rid the planet of that too?
Good point. You'd have to destroy the science too so nobody can re-invent it.
No guns, no gun science....I'm not convinced.
Well, there wouldn't be any campus shootings would there?
You're right. This is what we should aim for. Let's write our Congressman and tell him our plan.

Back in the real world....

The last school shooting in the UK was two decades ago. They didn't have to outlaw science to stop school shootings. What's different about them?

I don't think Switzerland has EVER had a school shooting, let alone the last two decades. They didn't have to outlaw gun ownership to prevent it from ever happening. What's different about them?

Nobody believes you had that conversation for real. That is one of those right-wing fantasies that never actually happens.

However, you don't need to make up gun fantasies because I totally agree with you and the NRA. Their and your claim is that arming more people will result in less gun deaths. Therefore, if you take that to its logical conclusion, only 100% arming = 0% gun deaths.
