Justice Dept: Miami Police used excessive force

Federal officials agreed with the police department’s own findings that three of the 33 shootings were “unjustified,” but concluded that an unspecified number of others involved excessive force, too.

But former Miami Police Chief Miguel Exposito says...

“Unlike the patrol officers, who spend part of their day answering calls for service, writing reports, responding to accidents, of course the tactical and SWAT units are going to have more shootings,” Exposito said. “That tells me whoever did this probe has very little understanding of what police officers do on a daily basis.”

Shaun is right! Disband the police. Get rid of them. Let's find a private-sector solution to law enforcement. In fact...fuck it...let's just have no laws. We're free, after all!

The crazy thing is, the police here are way less abusive than in certain other cities (like Dallas, for example). Not to say that they aren't abusive or corrupt here, just to say that's crazy.

Pretty sure the report says they aren't isolated incidences. That's the point. A mistake here or there is one thing, but a trend is something to be concerned about.

Coach thinks the police should be disbanded. Anarchy is the way! No laws. Abolish the government. Corporations should be able to pollute the planet. You see? He just said it. Right there. Black and white. Isn't it obvious? Alex Jones!

You know I'm for more regulation, not less. Way more, in some cases. Individuals should have more freedom, corporations and government should be better regulated.

But you said these aren't isolated incidents. That means you support abolishing the police force, letting criminals run wild, anarchy in the streets, no law, complete freedom, Alex Jones.

More "isolated incidents"....

Arkansas sheriff's deputies tied a man to chair for eight hours and beat him "until his teeth were knocked from his mouth" - after a traffic ticket, the man claims in court.
