I simply cannot believe that this is happening to an iconic figure like Joe Paterno. I just can't believe this guy was told that his assistant coach was raping a young boy... not touching... he was sodomizing 10 year old boy....! He did the right thing by advising someone but why didn't he think to A.) follow-up and ensure it was reported to the police and B.) FIRE the Asst coach immediately? Friend or no friend... the guy was raping a young boy!!

Am I sad to see him go - yes! He has ran an amazing program for what 47 years or something... most wins in college football... but by NOT taking action for a situation as serious as this makes me SICK. Sick sick sick. I'm extremely disappointed that he let this guy molest these boys UNDER HIS WATCH. WTF joe. WTF.

Where is the Grad student/coach at? I don't understand this. You catch him having sex with a kid in the shower, you do nothing, you turn around and walk out then tell Paterno? Why not beat the fuck out of him, dial 911?

The Grad student is now the Wide Receivers coach at Penn, Mike McQueary. He will be coaching on Saturday, which is absolutely ridiculous. Is Penn State afraid of what he knows? How far does this thing really go...

I think that they feel as if this coach did what he was supposed to have done when he reported the episode to his superior. I happen to think that he should have stopped what he saw going on, dragged Sandusky out of the showers naked and beaten him bloody in front of the whole campus.

His father also needs to go down. He told then father first then Paterno... How many more adults are there that did not call the cops? Why is he allowed to coach?
