Lots of black muslims....[/quote]

How is the TSA supposed to screen black Muslims but not black Christians?

Sure, but a mentally-infirm octogenarian actually is a security risk because they can't necessarily account for the security of their bags like Harris can. They ask you if anybody has been handling your bags when you check them because whoever handles them could plant explosives set to detonate in two hours. The girl with cerebral palsy who freaked when they inspected her crutches is also developmentally disabled. People treat that like it should somehow earn her a get-out-of-screening-free card, but that's actually a security risk.

If the TSA had a policy of not screening senile octogenarians with walkers then terrorists would find a way to pack a walker full of plastic explosives and pull a swap on some senile old lady before she entered the airport. You have to use your imagination because as we learned on 9/11, terrorists can be very imaginative.

The no-fly list is compiled by the FBI, not the TSA. The TSA just enforces it.

You guys dont listen and twist the argument into the nonsensical as I have pointed out yet again, as is the custom here on TNL. I nor even Harris for that matter is advocating that there be a cease and desist of screening of handicaps medical assisting equipment, that would be absurd...ALL baggage and equipment like that must and should be screened. Where did i suggest otherwise?

It is dangerous to be right in matters on which the established authorities are wrong.

Yes, perhaps the baby was carrying an explosive diaper.

Re: Is anyone flying....?

Henry Kissinger praises airport security agents for their ‘courtesy’ during his NY patdown

When former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger flies, he gets patted down by security agents just about every time.

The 88-year-old Nobel Peace Prize winner was stopped again a few days ago as he passed security at New York’s LaGuardia Airport on his way to Toronto.

But the elder statesman released a statement Tuesday, saying it’s “not unusual” for him to be patted down during airport security screening. He says he wears a brace on his foot and can’t remove his shoes.

Flew out of Phoenix today. No body scanner machines were anywhere in sight...not turned off, they simply didn't have any. I went through a standard metal detector, no pat down necessary. In fact, nobody got a pat down for the 20 minutes I sat there with my Starbucks watching it all play out. It's amazing that anyone boarded their plane after such lackluster security measures. :D How can Phoenix keep anybody safe without body scanners and invasive pat downs?

Re: Is anyone flying....?

Phoenix has backscatter scanners in use at terminal 4.

That said, once again you tucked your tail between your legs and went through the oppressive TSA screening because you lack the integrity to stand by your convictions and refuse to submit. And, yet again, you found that all your whining was about a tiny fraction of a percent of the people inspected and that you had no problem.

I too flew again last week. I took the shuttle to NYC and back for business and didn't even get mildly groped.
