Xzibit: Diddy took me to a gay nightclub called Space...

Xzibit responds to his controversial interview which he did recently on Foxxhole Radio in which he spoke about going out to a nightclub with Diddy where two dudes were kissing and where another dude was naked dancing in the corner which was pointed out to him by Karrine “Superhead” Steffans who was accompanying him.

“He [Diddy] invites us to the house cause he wants to go to the club afterward and Superhead [Steffans] is with me, Karrine is with me,” stated Xzibit in that interview on Sirius Satellite radio’s Foxxhole Radio.

“We get to this club and then we walk in the back way… it’s a VIP lounge, ain’t nobody in there. The club is going, it’s all jumping and then I’m sitting there with old girl… so then (you know) he’s doing his business.. we go down to get a drink, we sitting there bobbing to the music, and then she say.. she point in the corner, it’s two dudes kissing… you know what I’m sayin, I’m like what the f-ck is this.. you know what I’m sayin’, then it’s girls in the club too, and then she point in another direction, it’s another dude over there like butt ass naked dancing! You know what I’m saying! We take off! You know what I’m saying, we leave the club directly. I didn’t say peace to nobody, I didn’t see nobody.. it was suspect…”

“You can chalk it up to being in Miami or whatever. But I’ve been in a gang of clubs mayne.. and I ain’t never mistakenly stepped into a club having that kind of activity. So, there it is, so we took a cab back to where I was and that’s what happened,” he added.

Well in his response made on today to clear up the possibility of seeming to dislike gays and/or Diddy or anything else, Xzibit stated he has no beef with Diddy and that Diddy in fact called him yesterday stating that the club was actually an after hours spot, although the rapper states that he didn’t look on his computer, at the blogs and websites that were talking about his interview, until today.

“Wow, so I wake up this morning and my phone is going nuts. I turn on the computer and find all this shit about me “throwing puffy under the gay bus” whatever that means. All this SPIN that you journalist are putting on the statements I made on a radio show to DIRECTLY effect a guy in a manor not intended is wrong. I got a call yesterday (which caught me off guard) from Diddy himself stating the club was an after hours spot called “space” I believe. The rumor mill that has ground this bullshit out to be the shit storm that it is, is doing so on its own accord. Like I said at the top, I have no beef with Diddy. BUT WAIT… a bigger problem I see is the negative stance these hip hop sites and blog sites are taking when speaking of gay people in general. All I can say to that is PEOPLE GROW UP! I do NOT like to spread hate and make it a point not to do so, so this is not the way I intended this interview to unfold.”

It seems that Xzibit wants to clear up any misinterpretations of what he said in the interview and wants to make it clear that he wasn’t implying that Diddy was gay or anything.

Xzibit goes on to say, “You heard it directly from me ladies and gents, Im looking forward to the issues at hand that really mean something to both my fans and Diddys as well: ART & MUSIC.”

Of course he back pedals when the shit hits the fan. Typical.

People like him are more trouble then they are worth in nightclubs. With all their money they should just stay home and have house parties.

Re: Xzibit: Diddy took me to a gay nightclub called Space...

speaking of back pedaling, here is another loser trying to clarify this 'incident'

N.O.R.E charged with battery in Miami Beach.

Queens, NY rapper N.O.R.E. was arrested on Sunday (Feb. 22) and charged with misdemeanor battery and disorderly conduct following an incident in a Miami, Fl. Fatburger.

According to the Associated Press, Noreaga was taken to the Miami-Dade county jail after police say he got into an altercation with an unidentified man. During the exchange, Nore reportedly ripped up flowers in the restaurant and threw a beverage on the victim before punching him in the face while screaming, “ Do you know who I am?”

He was released yesterday shortly after being charged.

Update: Only hours after news spread that he was arrested, Nore took to his twitter account to clarify a few things, stating: “Seriously though, I am not a man for negative behavior, at lease not now [i]n my career and [i]n my life. I will not comment on the incident cause I can’t wait for someone like Angela Yee or DJ Vlad to ask me a questions. lol. But, there were no flowers involved. Repeat- no flowers involved. But fat burger has veggie burgers with wheat bread and also has fries. They have none meat products. God damn!”

That's what I love about afterhours! People from all walks of life enjoying the morning in there own way. If you aren't causing harm to anyone else you can pretty much be yourself!

Re: Xzibit: Diddy took me to a gay nightclub called Space...

I would expect such behavior from a honky tonk redneck visiting Space. But anytime a minority (especially a famous one) displays this type of behavior I find it unacceptable. How do you think he would react if Chris Martin from Coldplay visited a hip-hop club and later talked shit to the media about how silly blacks look wearing saggy jeans, fake gold, sporting a big weave in their hair and drinking Alize? The racism chant would be on every magazine cover. How is what this dickhead said any less offensive?

Rappers like him have been making anti-gay remarks for years and continue to get away with it....and if you don't think the gay bashing that is common in hip-hop culture doesn't affect the country, just remember it was the blacks in Florida who ultimately denied gay marriage in this state. They pushed it over the top. They supported the ban in numbers greater than any other group, another one of life's sad ironies. For a group of people who were denied civil rights for years to now deny another group their civil rights speaks volumes.

The irony is astounding. 50 years ago Xzibit would not have been let in the door of a reasonably well-kept nightclub in Miami.

Though I have a feeling he's probably part of the whole "down-low" subculture that makes it's appearance from time to time. You know the type.
