having promoted raves and not clubs, im sure that the game is somewhat different. but whether or not we "knew" it was an illegal setup, we always had a backup plan just in case. guess these cats paid the daytime fire inspectors and neglected the nite guys.

All I know is that this wasn't a RAVE. This was supposed to be the opening of a new $2 Million+ nightclub. They took over a year to build it and never bothered to get the proper permits to open it. They took this long, why not push back the opening another week? Now they've pissed the Fire Marshall off and he'll make sure they remember it for a while.

Also, I received three e-mails for opening parties but not a single e-mail telling me it was not happening. If I didn't read this site or check their website, how was I to know?

That makes perfect sense. Why would they do a better job of press relations than they have with anything else?

Re: Fire Marshal shut down Aero Bar Closed for the weekend

Rudnick does a great job at these type of places, knows what the ladies like and plays it, why other jocks can't do that is beyond me, instead we get techno and trance at pool parties..

Moving on..

AB is in trouble, yes I'm saying it, I'm not trying to be an asshole or anything but we have seen this movie before many times over in sobe and in fact in that very same building TWICE!

Cowan had the capital to keep Nerve open, in the end they closed it down. I don't think the AB crew is any more experienced or successful than Jon, so why even attempt this? For the record at the time EDM was much stronger. Well it's already open so why open in the summer? Why open without permits? Why misspell everything? Why have house music on Friday and Sat??? Why is their flyer designed by the lowest bidder? Why would they do Cedrics's bd on a Sunday when Space was doing his bd on the very same Sunday at Space? Why promote DJS when they claim they want VIPers? Why have 3 straight days of house?

They have a very very very small window here, by Sept it's probably going to be firing time, everyone starts blaming the other person etc..

I hope the AB crew gets pissed off at me for saying this, maybe it will inspire them to be businessmen and not big shot wannabe club owners.

I know I know, "I don't understand, you'll see we are going to get the vipers etc bla bla bla bla bla bla bla..." BOOKING SPACE DJS WON'T GET YOU VIPS! FLYERS WITH DJS ON THEM WON'T GET YOU VIPS!

I've seen this movie before, the ending is the same...

Fix your shit..
