Pod, how often do your friends in Vegas actually wear suits?

Please the next time you decide to write something about me, contact me directly for accurate information. Your story is jaded, libelous and one-sided. You have no idea the pressure's the FEDS put on me, and you are trying to destroy my business and my livelihood! I hope the public can see through this garrish attempt to ruin my comeback.

Driving 80 through a residential neighborhood while drunk is a "comeback"?

Re: New Times article on Chris Paciello

I have an idea of the pressure that the FEDS put on him. They put the pressure on me too. You know what I did? I went to trial instead of turning on my buddies. I took the pain for what I had done.

Is that supposed to make us feel for him? Awwww, poor Chris. He only stole millions of dollars, hurt people, murdered people and the mean old Feds pressured him so he had to rat out. Come on.

Look, I'm not anti-Paciello and I am all for second chances but please stop with the "poor me" nonsense. Stop with the thuggery and the bad behavior and get to work. Do well and act like you appreciate the second chance and people will get behind you.

I thought he was tried and convicted as an accessory to murder because he happened to be the driver of the get-away car in the botched robbery of the Shemtov residence (resulting in the death of Judith Shemtov).

He was never tried for anything, as far as I know. My understanding is that he made a deal that covered all his crimes.

By the way, when you plan a robbery and someone dies during the crime, everyone involved is guilty of murder, not accessory to murder. It's called the Felony Murder Rule.

Dade, you took your licks and kept moving on. One of the many reasons I respect you.

I'm probably as morally bankrupt as they come, you told me my "moral compass doesn't point north", even.

However, there's one thing I won't do, is snitch. Even in everyday life. It's honestly one thing I can't abide by, is the snitch culture that is pervasive in American society. We're a nation of hustlers and that's sad.

Re: New Times article on Chris Paciello

Look....I did what I did and I didn't understand the idea of making others pay for my bad decisions.

Chris did all those crimes and, when it came time to settle his debt with society, he did whatever he could to get out of it no matter who he had to throw under the bus to do so.

Look at the list of crimes in that MNT piece. Is six years enough to pay that debt?

You know this, and it's the way the Feds operate. They'll let the small-to-medium fish go to get to the big fish.

And Dade doesn't drive 80 drunk through neighborhood streets. That's an important distinction. He grew up and learned from his mistakes and became a better person. It's pretty obvious Chris hasn't.

Is that too personal a question?
