Chris's greatest asset now is his reputation as a mobster.

I wonder how long it will be before we see Chris doing an interview with The Today Show from the pool at the Delano where he talks about his life as a mobster, dating Madonna and his forthcoming autobiography.

I wonder if Frank Owen will be the co-author.

I had the same feeling when I read it. Either way, it looks like Frank Owen put a lot of work into the article. The last really in depth article I read on Paciello was Tris Korten's "Goon Over Miami" many years ago.

The DWI was on February 17th, by my count that was about 22 days ago.

I will agree with you though, the guy is a thug. I can't stand that people like this constantly get second chances. I believe he will get his in the end.

Great article, this is why I hate the sun sentinel, they rarely have articles that are worth reading. I'm all for 2nd chances but he would be in prison for life if he didn't rat out his buddies. I don't think the grand opening is any indication of how successful he will be.

I'll never understand famous/rich people. Runway 84 is the best Italian food in Florida yet people flock to hotels such as the Delano due to hype over substance. I just don't get it.

Part of the appeal of Miami is that corporate America doesn't have as much of a presence here as it does elsewhere. Do you really want our city infested by Blackberry-toting white people in suits?
