A HUNDRED AND EIGHT DEGREES?!?

I have a Vegas weather widget on my Mac's dashboard and the number 108 just jumped out at me. WTF?!? And I thought it was hot in Miami. No wonder pool parties are so big in Vegas. Pod, pack some SPF 300 for your trip.

It's a dry heat. You don't feel it, you just get dehydrated.

BULL-FUCKING-SHIT! (with all due respect Dan  )

your ass wasnt there last week when it was not 108......BUT 109 degrees!

when we took the cab over to the Hard rock the cab driver told us it wasnt usual for May to be this hot. Of course my luck because i remember years ago going to Vegas during August and told myself i would never do that again. not during that time.

the was this overwhelming HEAT even at 7 am! even at Night!

when Oscar played at rehab on the day it was 109 (5.17.08) you could not breath. and we were under a cabana and nothing!

it was suffocating. that is the ONLY way to describe it. unbearable.

i will never complaint on how hot it gets in Miami.

dry heat my ass. you cant even walk a block without reaching for oxygen.

agreed. I was in vegas and phoenix a few summers back and it was like someone was blowing a hair dryer directly on me. this whole "well its a dry heat you dont feel it" is such malarky. i too, will take miami's humidity anyday of the week over that insufferable climate.

Re: A HUNDRED AND EIGHT DEGREES?!?

Well I have to say, it was hot those 2 days that were 105 - 108. But its way better than 108 in Miami that is a fact, I lived in Miami my whole life. The Winter here is amazing. Every night it hits the 30's and you can go snowboarding 45 minutes away from the strip. Yea the Summer gets to be about 115 consistently for the month of July, but the rest of the year its weather Miami locals wish they had. It could be December in Miami and it can be in the upper 80's, FUCK THAT SHIT. I'd rather be snowboarding in the mountains and suffer for 1 - 2 months out of the year.

errrr ummmm........ miami FTW! dude the beachs here totally make the heat worth it. i can be indoors during the daytime hours untill like 4 pm and then if need be go for a dip in the ocean. Boating is off the chain, and for the 1 or 2 months of sufferable weather, we get 10 months of paradise. Believe it or not i am actually starting to appreciate our proximity to south america also. Seems that america, canada, mexico and south america are going to eventually be one big union so may as well get used to being a quasi latin nation before it comes full force.........
