I don't mind tipping a door guy to get past a big line. I've done it in Vegas and done it in Miami. If I'm out to have fun, I don't like wasting my time standing in line for a long time. However, I wouldn't pay the ridiculous amounts that some have posted about.

It is dangerous to be right in matters on which the established authorities are wrong.

i used to live there for three years and it is a very shitty town. The weather fucking sucks. The crime is awful. I honestly dont understand the hype behind it either. The city has no grass, no trees, no character whatsoever.

The residents of Vegas are the most scummiest, lowlife, shadiest, dirtiest, white trash people on the planet.

I've been over a few times. Now, it seems like a nice place to live. A friend of mine lives in Henderson and he's got a huge house for about what you'd pay for a 2/1 here in Miami.

Clubs? The production values are almost unrivaled. Every club I went to was impeccably maintained.

Music? Well, I wasn't impressed. The places I was impressed by musically had guest DJs booked.

Crowds? Other than my friends, it left a lot to be desired. I don't get along too well with the Middle America crowd. HTM might rip on Latins all the time, but at least I know where I stand with a Latin crowd.

However, according to a reliable source out there, house is on the rise in Vegas. Even the tourists are sick of open format and party "DJs". Give some jackass a Macbook and a Serato box, and suddenly he's on the decks at Club XYZ in a huge casino.

But there's a few places that are moving forward...

I like Vegas because it has the best vibe for having a party. The people that visit Vegas are all there to have a good time. The town has good nightclubs, gambling, shows, hotels worth just sight seeing themselves and good restaurants.

This will be my 6th time going to Vegas, and I can't get enough of it, I mean I feel like I'm in another world when I am there...I forget about everything else for those few days.

I am not there to mingle with the locals or tourists, I'm there to have MY FUN no matter how or where it may be. I have yet to have a bad time in Vegas.

So yeah I have not met a single person who says they don't have fun in Vegas, as for the clubs and music, I don't go there expecting to hear the best Music or Set by a DJ...so basically I never get let down in that department.

I enjoy it for the spectacle. I'm not a gambler but it's a sure spectacle.
