Transport Recordings’ label don Marco Celone (DJ MFR) presents “Eternal,” a striking slice of contemporary disco with a pronounced classic house music feel. DJ MFR has been busy, with his prolific Transport label, a busy international DJ schedule, his West Coast Excursion mix series (now up to its sixth volume), the New Mondo project with Vincent Kwok, and a multitude of upcoming remixes and tracks for other labels. In the midst of all this he’s found the time to reveal “Eternal,” a track confidently mixing deep and tech-house sounds, infusing them with uplifting, retro house music touches, and featuring additional keys from regular collaborator Pranell O’Neil. Two main versions come into play, the original and the Tribute Mix, with the latter featuring a bold bass line that does its best to “take it back.”There are Stripped versions of both mixes also in the package allowing DJs different options and flavors for different times of the night. Another sure-fire winner from Transport Recordings and DJ MFR … dig in.
